In accordance with the College’s dedication to ensuring that each young man is known, the Depth Stage of Polaris fosters individuals’ character, confidence and competence, and it encourages them to be open to a range of new learning experiences that align with their passions, talents and future aspirations.I AM KNOWN    POLARIS About the role:As one of two Learning Diversity Leaders you will work closely with the Diversity team to drive an integrated culture of inclusive education, student and staff growth and achievement, aligned with the College’s Catholic ethos, Marist Spirituality, Victorian Curriculum and Polaris learning ecosystem.The Learning Diversity Leaders work closely with two Heads of Learning, Learning Leaders and teaching staff and relevant teams to ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive inclusive learning and teaching program, catering for the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of all students at Years 7 to 12. The position is an ongoing teaching position with a 3 year appointment to the Position of LeadershipIn addition to the preparation and delivery of the curriculum the position will be expected to participate in the College's co-curricular program, which may include Saturday sport.Requirements:The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for engaging students and will have a sound knowledge of contemporary learning practices.  Flexibility, initiative and collegiality are intrinsic to this role.Staff are expected to support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and to commit to ongoing professional development and learning.Child Safeguarding Requirements:All applicants are required to:Provide proof of IdentificationComplete a Child Safety DeclarationComplete online Child Protection trainingProvide or agree to undertake a police check (National Police Certificate)Provide evidence of current VIT registrationApplications Close 9.00 am Thursday 7 November 2019.Interviews will commence from Monday 11 November 2019Please see the position description for further details and Selection Criteria.Position Description AUD Bulleen 3105
